Jabber Collins was 20 when he was wrongly convicted of murder. While in prison he did what is impossible for many who are not incarcerated–he trained himself in law, filed pleadings and appeals, conducted his own investigations, and when he was stymied by officials, found help from attorney Joel Rudin. After 16 years in prison, he was exonerated. He now works as a paralegal at Rudin’s office.
